Influenze di Andrea Pozzo nella Gloria di S. Ignazio a Gorizia e analisi prospettica / Influences of Andrea Pozzo in the Glory of St. Ignatius in Gorizia and perspective analysis

Obiettivo della ricerca è lo studio dell’affresco “Gloria di S. Ignazio” realizzato nel 1721 da Christoph Tausch nella chiesa gesuita di S. Ignazio a Gorizia. L’indagine ha riguardato il rilievo, l’analisi proiettiva, la restituzione prospettica e la modellazione digitale dell’opera. Il confronto tra i principi teorici e gli schemi grafici del trattato Perspectiva pictorum et architectorum di Pozzo ha rilevato delle conformità tra i disegni di apparati scenici e la costruzione del dipinto. La comparazione prospettica tra opera e immagine digitale ha evidenziato la correttezza del procedimento. / The aim of this research is the study of the fresco "Glory of St. Ignatius" built in 1721 by Christoph Tausch in the Jesuit church of St. Ignatius in Gorizia. The study was dedicated to the survey, the projective analysis, the perspective restitution and the digital modeling of the work. The comparison between the theoretical principles and the diagrams of Pozzo’s treatise Perspectiva pictorum et architectorum found some similarities between the drawings of similar stage sets and the construction of the painting. The perspective comparison between the fresco and the digital image has highlighted the correctness of the procedure.
