Follow a technology development to reduce the environmental impact of main companies within a territory means to extent the objectives for all those involved. Taking as an example the containment of the emission of Volatile Organic Compounds to comply air quality rules, means to have a multiplicity of different objectives. Looking for resolve all of them, may bring a loss of strength for activities that at long-term would have been successful. At the same time when results are achieved, the economic reality has changed and the prevailing solution to be applied is to minimize the interventions.
