How much? Quantifying costs and materials of public buildings in Roman Cisalpine. Preliminary thoughts on the cities of Brescia and Verona

Brescia and Verona are two of the most important modern cities in northern Italy in which archaeological remains and ancient monuments have survived through the centuries. However, this is also a big limit, because data and archaeological evidences are frequently inhomogenenous and fragmented.
