The purpose of this paper is to study the stakeholder involvement strategies in business models for sustainability (BMfS) themes. The methodology is a bibliometric analysis: co-citation analysis is used to find the BMfS themes in which stakeholders are involved. Then, a systematic literature review is conducted to interpret the themes. Preliminary results show that the BMfS themes are business orientation at the strategic level; relationships, capabilities, technologies and communication at the organizational and process level; and innovation and impacts as outcomes. In these themes there are: absence of involvement strategy, in which corporate efforts are directed toward creating stakeholder impact, e.g., using communication; collaborative strategy, in which organizations use stakeholder management to mitigate external impacts establishing long relationships; and cooperative strategy, in which organisation use stakeholder engagement for both the company and stakeholders to gain mutual benefits, building new capabilities and integrating sustainable development within organisation and society.
