Abstract

The state of the art on the search for a shared assessment strategy for the cultural Heritage vulnerability subject to the action of climate change today shows that it is still fragmentary and struggles to find convergence in terms of the exchange and sharing of different interdisciplinary contributions. Prediction of environmental phenomena (entrusted to pure sciences), vulnerability knowledge of the Architectural Heritage affected by climate change, risk determination of loss, are nodal points of this strategic perspective that rest on differentiated and sometimes conflicting conceptual assumptions and operational guidelines. The national and international reception of climate change mitigation guidelines (ICOMOS,UNESCO, European Union) has not yet led to a shared systematisation of positions. The latter lurk in different cultural/formative paths, where the – lack of unambiguous terminological meanings – also plays its part. The contribution aims at investigating the nodal passages of the scenario synthetically recalled herein in the light of the experience and research perspectives matured within the framework of the Convention signed between the University of Udine and the Municipality of Andreis (PN). This envisages the programmatic examination of a forecasting strategy for the protection of the historical and cultural Heritage of the wooden Daltz that connote the historical and settlement peculiarities of Andreis.
