House names are interesting proof of the endemic naming system used by the Slovenes of the Ter region, while surname forms have long been ifluenced by Italian. In the article, the author presents the male and female suffix endings in which the influence of the roman linguistic or cultural world can be seen. A comparison of surnames with Ter house names in Slovene, Croatian, Italian and Furlan territories also show that forms often match.
