The book proposes a theory of causation which might ground a realist conception of mental representation in current debates. On the bases of Thomistic hylemorphism and of a conditional analysis of causation, the volume engages with analytical philosophers and suggests a view that can be called Thomistic in the sense that it builds on some intuitions due to Thomas Aquinas, but develops them on a new terrain.

Abstract
The book proposes a theory of causation which might ground a realist conception of mental representation in current debates. On the bases of Thomistic hylemorphism and of a conditional analysis of causation, the volume engages with analytical philosophers and suggests a view that can be called Thomistic in the sense that it builds on some intuitions due to Thomas Aquinas, but develops them on a new terrain.File in questo prodotto:
