The thesis considers the general elements of comparison and connection between the Veneto system and the Friuli system in terms of settlement and infrastructures. The objective is to demonstrate a certain continuity between the two territorial systems and at the same time a certain degree of diversity compared to other systems of LIMES Padano (Lombardy and Piedmont). Another element that is taken into consideration is the ratio of the territorial system Veneto-Friuli with the North-East Europe. The essay concludes with a discussion of linear conurbative patterns along lines of i development of infrastructures, according to different models of planning.
