The digital representation, in recent decades, has involved all the various aspects of architectural design. This, if on one hand has led to the involvement of an increasing number of users, has also been a great heterogeneity of processes, with a consequent low interoperability between them. The text addresses the complexity of the digital representation of the architectural design by proposing a form of logical steps, the first dealing with variables to study general aspects and special. It proposes the construction of the digital model, exemplifying the architectural design of a small church, with the solution step by step the most significant aspects.
