The research project aims to study the theoretical and conservation issues surrounding works of Street Art. The project involved a study phase that looked at the phenomenon from a historical and artistic point of view, as well as an investigation of the main conservation issues affecting contemporary murals. To achieve this goal, the criteria for the selection and classification of individual paintings has been identified, and a catalogue containing historical, artistic, and conservation information created. A second phase of the research project involved conducting a field survey and choosing the most interesting works of art. A very important part of this research project were interviews, which aimed to collect data on the materials used by the artists and recorded their opinion on how best to preserve their works of art. The data obtained from this research will be entered into a computer database, creating a catalogue that can be continually updated. In addition to promoting the awareness of contemporary muralism, this catalogue will make a significant contribution to the preservation of this type of art and also to theoretical reflection on the problems of restoring contemporary art.

In addition to promoting the awareness of contemporary muralism, this catalogue will make a significant contribution to the preservation of this type of art and also to theoretical reflection on the problems of restoring contemporary art.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
