The article presents the exhibition at the Fondazione Prada entitled Recycling Beauty, curated by Salvatore Settis, Anna Anguissola and with Denise La Monica. The exhibition is dedicated to the reuse of ancient art over the centuries for its aesthetic or functional value. The review focuses on the section of the exhibition dedicated to the Thrones of Ravenna, where putti are the protagonists, and on the final section where a peacock from Emperor Hadrian’s Mausoleum then reused in St Peter’s Basilica, is exhibited. In this issue of Engramma entitled “Angeli e pennuti”, putti (as angels), and the peacock (with its feathers), are a pathway through Prada’s exhibition.
