Alien arthropods reported in “Flora and Fauna of the eastern Venetian plain” (Italy). In the 19 volumes of the “Flora and Fauna of the eastern Venetian plain” journal, published from 1999 to 2017, 32 alien arthropod species are reported. There are one species of arachnid three of crustaceans and 28 of insects. 60% of them originated from America, 34% Asia, 3% Africa and 3% Atlantic Ocean. Some species have been introduced a long time ago, such as Samia cynthia, whereas other entered and spread more recently, such as Aproceros leucopoda, Cydalima perspectalis, and Halyomorpha halys. The list of alien species reported is to be considered incomplete, because it is known that many other non-native arthropods occur in the eastern plains of the Veneto region.
