Abstract
A technical and economic comparison of the most common methods to remove Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) from air emissions of factories are illustrated. Costs have an important role in setting many air pollution control applications. Costs also play an input role in determining the economic impact of each alternative on small and medium businesses. Simple and inexpensive management, non-use of fossil fuels and the stability of performance during work periods make biofitration an environmental friendly and sustainable technology. To solve extended pollution problems within industrial districts, could be better provide guidance of the most diffusible technologies among the companies instead to impose highly efficient removal technologies, but hardly applicable.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
