The article describes the importance of (in)determination not only on names, but also on verbs in their syntactic realization. The theoretical frame of the Functional Discourse Grammar helps in considering the most recent researches on (in)determination and to suggest its application on the Hungarian verb forms, through the use of verbal particles (also known as prefixes in literature).
