Books with dedications in the collection donated to the University of Udine by Lorenzo Renzi (and an annotation of the same) · This contribution presents an anthology of dedications contained in the books that Lorenzo Renzi, former professor of Romance Philology at the University of Padua, donated in 2019 to the International Center on Multilingualism of the University of Udine. The result is a very rich gallery of characters, protagonists of European culture in the last half century : linguists and romance philologists, but also classicists, poets and engaged writers, especially belonging to the Romanian area. The dedications allow to reconstruct a web of academic and scientific relationships at an international level, the circulation of ideas and literary interests, the sharing of study paths and moments of cultural life.
