Calchi linguistici nella varietà germanica di Sauris/Zahre

This work pro poses an analysis of some phenomena of linguistic interference in the German variety of the linguistic island of Sauris/Zahre, due to the contact between Sau ran and liminal Romance varieties, such as Friulian and Italian. The focus will be the analysis of linguistic calques. To this end, a systematic perusal of the Zahrer Wörterbuch/Dizionario saurano by Denison, Grassegger (2007) was carried out, thus identifying the linguistic calques presented in this contribution. We decided to proceed with the analysis of lexicographical data because they allow us to work with stabilized forms in usage, which help direct the research towards con tact phenomena with outcomes that are already stabilized in the system at the Langue level, leaving aside those interference phenomena that have not really set tled in the linguistic system, such as casuals. This contribution, on the one hand, leads us to reflect on the theoretical paradigm and the different types of linguistic casts and, on the other, to make some assessments of the vitality of this minority language.
