This essay intends to outline a philosophical-juridical research perspective on the anthropological foundation of the design of Artificial Intelligence (hereinafter AI). In particular, it aims to indicate which anthropological conception should guide the solution of the legal problems connected to the instrumental relationships that are established between AI and human subjects. Pursuing this objective, after having examined the main anthropological conceptions of our time, consequentialism, deontologism and natural law theory, it is argued that a personalist anthropology, supported by a philosophical-dialectical justification, is the one that allows us to look at the human being always also as an end and never simply as a means of intelligent systems. In the conclusions, with the aim of promoting the protection of human dignity, it is proposed to reactivate a philosophical anthropology, and more specifically to rediscover the importance of the philosophy of law, especially with reference to the theory of fundamental rights and the conditions of their protection.

Abstract
In the conclusions, with the aim of promoting the protection of human dignity, it is proposed to reactivate a philosophical anthropology, and more specifically to rediscover the importance of the philosophy of law, especially with reference to the theory of fundamental rights and the conditions of their protection.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
