Persona, “Per la prima e ultima volta”. Il Capodanno del 1994 al Cocoricò con la Socìetas Raffaello Sanzio

This contribution reconstructs the performance Persona by the theatre company Socìetas Raffaello Sanzio. Thanks to unpublished testimonies and sources, the performance is described and read for the first time in its poetics and in its relation to the other productions of the company. The peculiarity of the performance is that it took place at the Cocoricò discotheque in Riccione, during the New Year's Eve party of 1994. The importance of the venue is recounted in order to show its close relationship with the performance and to describe the special relationship between the Cocoricò discotheque, avant-garde theatre and contemporary art in the 1990s.
