Frammenti elettrici. Intersezioni tra video e CCCP

The contribution, entitled Frammenti elettrici. Intersezioni tra CCCP e video, collects notes and reflections around some video objects that more or less directly cross the phenomenon of the band CCCP - Fedeli alla linea. The four parts - unrelated to each other except for the theme - are a reflection on the moving image, on the hermeneutic possibilities provided by the installation form of video, and on the specifics of the video image. The first of the four fragments deals with the diffusion of the personal image in the public sphere through the development of local television in Italy in the 1980s. The second is a reading of Yervant Gianikian and Angela Ricci Lucchi's film Frammenti elettrici n. 6. Diario 1989. Dancing in the Dark. The third fragment presents a reflection on image and time starting from the Stanza di Fellegara set up in the exhibition "Felicitazioni! CCCP - Fedeli alla linea 1984-2024" (Reggio Emilia, Chiostri di San Pietro, 12 October 2023/10 March 2024). The last fragment starts from another installation in the same exhibition and the video it displays to illustrate some characteristics of CCCP concerts in relation to liturgy and Italian avant-garde theatre in the 1980s.
