The article focuses both on the presence and on the influence of Gadda’s oeuvre in Daniela Ranieri’s novel-essay Stradario aggiornato di tutti i miei baci. The first section is devoted to a presentation of the main thematic and stylistic features of Stradario. Secondly, the paper analyses a number of quotations from Gadda’s work in Ranieri’s novel. By focusing on the formal features of Stradario, the third section ex-amines the influence of Gadda’s style on Ranieri’s prose. The final section points out the similarities between the posture of Stradario I-narrator and the narrator in Gadda’s novel.
