This article focuses on manuscript Plut. 16.39 in the Medicea Laurenziana Library in Florence. It is a well-known example of Veronese production from the first half of the 9th century, re-examined here in terms of its codicological, paleographic, and content-related aspects. In particular, the question of its dating is addressed, placing it in the period 817-835. Furthermore, using a rigorous paleographic method, the attribution of some marginalia to the hand of Archdeacon Pacificus is discussed.
