This narrative literature review aims to examine the challenges faced by adolescents and young adults in coping with their developmental milestones in increasingly challenging urban contexts, and to describe Urban Remediation strategies as a potential opportunity to promote better mental health outcomes. Urban spaces provide access to education and employment opportunities, but at the same time negatively affect young people's mental health by exposing them to risk factors such as social isolation, poverty and lack of green spaces. Urban Remediation is a set of policies and initiatives aimed at improving the urban environment to promote mental well-being, whose strategies include the creation of green spaces, implementation of areas for social connection and integrated access to mental health services. Numerous initiatives in several countries have already successfully implemented Urban Remediation practices, which are proving to be an effective strategy for supporting young people's mental health in a context of increasing urbanisation.

Abstract
Numerous initiatives in several countries have already successfully implemented Urban Remediation practices, which are proving to be an effective strategy for supporting young people's mental health in a context of increasing urbanisation.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
