Il ruolo semiotico della psicanalisi in Deleuze

This article examines the role that psychoanalysis plays in shaping Gilles Deleuze’s semiotic thought, highlighting how the French thinker transforms psychoanalytic concepts into tools for a non-representational theory of signs. Through an analysis of Deleuze’s works on Freud, Masoch, structuralism, and the semiotics of images, the article shows how he employs psychoanalysis not as an explanatory model but as a conceptual device capable of generating new ways of readingdesire, enunciation, and processes of subjectivation. The article also underscores the relationship between psychoanalysis and language, and the way Deleuze’s critique of the signifier contributes to defining a semiotics of forces and intensities.
