A very simple proof is given of the fact that no theory based on a pointlike model of particles subject to local processes can reproduce the phenomenon of quantum interference. It is argued that the `wholeness' character, typical of the pilot-wave theory of de Broglie and Bohm, is actually a common feature of all subquantum theories.

Abstract
A very simple proof is given of the fact that no theory based on a pointlike model of particles subject to local processes can reproduce the phenomenon of quantum interference. It is argued that the `wholeness' character, typical of the pilot-wave theory of de Broglie and Bohm, is actually a common feature of all subquantum theories.File in questo prodotto:
