The parameters that affect cold mechanical deformation (cold rolling) in carbon steel wires were analyzed. It was found that pulling forces were lower in the cold rolling process as compared to drawing. It was also found that the friction between the roll and the material had percentage incidence on the pulling force of a very different identity. The results show that separation forces can change by more than 1000 Kgf due to the variation in the entry diameter.

Abstract
The parameters that affect cold mechanical deformation (cold rolling) in carbon steel wires were analyzed. It was found that pulling forces were lower in the cold rolling process as compared to drawing. It was also found that the friction between the roll and the material had percentage incidence on the pulling force of a very different identity. The results show that separation forces can change by more than 1000 Kgf due to the variation in the entry diameter.File in questo prodotto:
