"The poet's return to the mortals". The article examines the question of intelectual engagement as represented in the radio-drama Poet's sold spaces of croatian XX century poet Nikola Šop. The radio-drama is seen as a pesimistic variant of the myth of Orpheus. Hanna Arendt's explanation of the greek concept about vita activa is crutial in this interpretation.
