Concentration and Association in the Use of Agricultural Land in Italian Cultural Systems. During three decades (1970-2000) the agricultural firms’ active area has decreased 53734 square kilometres; the reduction has occurred for 60% in the decade 1990-2000 and has more than triplicated the abandoned land. If, infact, in 1970, 83% of the Italian territory was made of land managed by agricultural firms, this amount has decreased to 65% in the 2000. This means that in thirty years 18% of the territory has left agricultural management. In this situation the research here presented, using municipal data concerning land use in their maximum disaggregation, has meant to verify the following: a) the presence of an asymmetrical use of land at an inter-municipal level according to the productive orientations used;b) the degree of municipal concentration of the different land use; c) the affinity and the productive combinations in the destinations of the agricultural firm area at a municipal level. All this in a prospective view that foresees great changes in the absolute and relative convenience on the market of agricultural and agri-industrial products, of the supporting system of the CAP, of the technological and biotechnological development against the return to nature throughout eco-compatible products and preservation of food health

Abstract
All this in a prospective view that foresees great changes in the absolute and relative convenience on the market of agricultural and agri-industrial products, of the supporting system of the CAP, of the technological and biotechnological development against the return to nature throughout eco-compatible products and preservation of food healthFile | Dimensione | Formato | |
