The paper presents new evidence on his commentary on Aristotle's "Metaphysics", which left important traces on the metaphysical teaching imparted in Erfurt'schools in the 14th and early 15th century. An edition of some relevant passages, taken from the Metaphysics commentary of Hermann of Winterswijk (mid-14th century, Erfurt) and from an Erfurtian school collection, is provided.
