In Italy, only recently High Schools and Universities started to organize counselling and guidance activities. It’s a new field, where communication and testing must find the right balance. This paper focus on the relation between teaching a second year theory/practice module on Television in the Science and Multimedia Technology Undergraduate Course (University of Udine) in Italy and the production of vocational orienteering materials on DVD and multimedia CD ROM for undergraduate students.
