Bio-based nanocomposite films were produced by adding different types of nanoclays in a poly(lactic) acid polymer matrix and compared with the unfilled materials. A suitable coating made of pig skin gelatin was applied on the surface of poly(lactic)acid nanocomposite film U/C30B in order to produce a bio-based bi-layer flexible film with improved oxygen-barrier properties.
Sono stati realizzati film nanocompositi, ottenuti da fonte rinnovabile, attraverso l'incorporazione di nanoargille in una matrice polimerica a base di acido polilattico e confrontati con i materiali privi di nanoargille. E' stato applicato un coating costituito da gelatina di pelle di maiale sulla superficie del film nanocomposito a base di acido polilattico U/C30B, al fine di realizzare un bi-layer flessibile ad alta barriera all'ossigeno.
